Developed for Refrigerating Specialties, a division of Parker Hannifin Corporation, the Defrost Controller makes industrial defrost easy and affordable. This device has been created as a very flexible solution fitting into any industrial or commercial refrigeration application. In addition to its powerful scheduling capabilities it also monitors temperature and remote contacts responding to system triggers. Through the onscreen menu many variations of defrost initiate and termination methods are made available. The communications port features an RS-485 serial interface using the Modbus protocol giving users access to configure and monitor system status remotely or in distributed control installations. The defrost controller also allows in-field firmware upgrades. The Defrost Controller has met the requirements and is listed with UL, cUL and CE agencies.
